Coach Hunter Meade is thrilled to begin another season as the head coach of the Boys' Soccer Program at THS. He came to THS in 2018 and took over the program in 2023. He also became the head coach of the Girls' Soccer Program in the fall of 2024. Prior to coming to Tennessee High, Coach Meade served as the head coach of the boys' team for 8 years and the girls' team for 2 at Virginia High where he won multiple Coach of the Year awards including the 2016 VHSL State Coach of the Year award. His teams have made 5 State Tournaments including 3 Final Fours.

A graduate of Virginia High, Coach Meade lettered 4 years in soccer at VHS before playing 3 years of college soccer at the University of the Cumberlands where he was also the kicker for the football team for 2 years. Coach Meade graduated from the University of the Cumberlands in 2008 with his degree in Mathematics and Secondary Education.

Coach Meade teaches Algebra and Geomaetry in the THS Math Department. He and his wife Rebecca live in Bristol. They have three children, Peyton, Sawyer, and Greyson who each play multiple sports.
