Summer Book Bus
BTCS/BPL Book Bus
Bristol Tennessee City Schools and Bristol Public Library come together in a collaborative effort to provide fresh reading opportunities for students of all ages, assist families in the building of age-appropriate home libraries, and help ensure that students read on grade level by third grade.
Thanks to a grant award from the Governor's Early Literacy Foundation, in 2022 the Book Bus introduced a new look! Watch for the Book Bus this summer and also at community events throughout the year. It's always a good time to read!!
Quick Book Bus Information:
Free service to all children
Bristol Public Library cards not required to participate
Books do not have to be returned. All books distributed from the Book Bus are considered “forever books” and may be added to home libraries!
