On March 11, 2021, the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act of 2021 was signed into law, dedicating funds for K-12 schools through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER) funds. As a result, Bristol Tennessee City Schools is eligible to receive one-time federal funds through the ESSER program to address expenses and learning loss associated with the COVID-19 pandemic.
