Hybrid Single Teacher Benefits

Hybrid applies to any teacher hired in Tennessee on or after July 1, 2014. The Hybrid plan combines a 401K with the traditional pension plan. The link above gives an example of a Hybrid teacher’s full compensation for the 2021-2022 school year based on a master’s degree with five years of experience, including employee only health, dental, and vision insurance.

Legacy Single Teacher Benefits

Legacy applies to any teacher hired in Tennessee prior to July 1, 2014. The Legacy plan focuses on the traditional pension plan with an optional 401K.
